Gorrick Autumn Classic 12 Nov @ Crowthorne Wood

My first ever mountain bike race. I was entered in the open men, which consist of 3 laps of 4 miles. The course was really nice, mostly single tracks. At the start of the race i was with the uni people towards the back of the start(not a good start is it), we were pretty much together for the first half of the lap. The start was crazy, it was handle bar touching handle bar till we hit singletrack. I tried to over take whenever i see an opportunity. After that the rest of the race i was on my own. I was just going at it partly trying hard on the climbs and at the top i just go real easy and careful not over doing it. My 3rd lap was a nightmare, gears started playing up and i was causing a traffic jam haha. few people overtook me, then i found a gear that i was going to do the rest of the course in near the end of the the race. One thing that did annoy me abit was that right at the end of the race, i was going to overtake this guy, i said to him "overtake on your right" then he blocked my path on purpose that idiot. what a looser! i should have just rampaged him Anyway should have been 37th but 38th out of 103 racers (click here for results). Overall i think i did ok, but most importantly i had fun. I hope everyone who came had fun too!

Lordswood Jumps and drops

I mounted my camera to the frame and next thing, just wanted to get out and try it out to see how it looks.

Went to the woods with Kev do try some jumps and drops down near the workmans run.

Is my first time attempt in this kind of things. but it all when really well, for me anyway. just watch the videos and you will see what i mean! Enjoy...
